The Lindbergh Electric Airplane Flight Challenge (LEAF), is a real-world engineering investigation that challenges students to design, build, and fly an electric airplane that will carry the most amount of cargo.
Don’t know anything about aerospace? No problem! We’ll walk you through the curriculum, teach you how to design, build, and fly an electric airplane and support you as you teach the project to students. And, you’ll get to take your airplane home to show all of your students!
Who: Formal and informal teachers, administrators and outreach professionals
When: Monday, August 15, 2016, 8:30am-4:00pm
Where: Raisbeck Aviation High School (Next to the Museum of Flight)

Workshop Registration is $50 and includes: WA Clock Hour Certificate, Continental Breakfast, Curriculum, Lunch & All Materials Required to Build One Airplane
