With the current trends in classrooms and districts, assessment seems to be a four letter word. Assessment is important, but at what cost to our students’ learning and development? What if we could get useful assessment data without the pain? Enter Formative Assessments.
Each week throughout this series, we’ll take a look at a different formative assessment and learn how it can be easily used throughout a STEM lesson and/or unit to assess student learning without causing students anxiety. By soliciting ongoing feedback, we can better guide our teaching and positively impact student learning.
