Holiday STEM Challenge- Spring

Spring is just around the corner (hopefully) and what a better way to celebrate than to introduce a spring-theme design challenge!

The Spring design challenge is a little different and we are loving that!  In this challenge, kids are working to design the best bubble!

Yes, that’s right!  Using a variety of inexpensive, kid-friendly products, teams seek to determine the perfect formula for the best bubble.  Even though this challenge screams to do it outside on a nice sunny day, it can easily be done in a regular classroom setting.

Holiday STEM Challenges provide a break from students’ daily work that still targets standards and helps students sharpen their STEM skills.  Each Holiday STEM challenge comes complete with science notebook pages (half-page) so that students are still engaged in their learning, just with a holiday flair!

The spring design challenge comes with the engineering challenge design brief, challenge poster, criteria/constraints poster and procedure/set-up tips.  Also included are interactive STEM notebook pages and debrief questions.  Posters are designed as full-page and notebook pages are designed as half-pages.
