Product Description:   The Flexible STEM series is designed for any learning environment- virtual, hybrid or in-person.  Using household materials, students make the Engineering Design Process come alive as they seek to solve an engineering design problem.  In the Zippy Ziplines STEM Investigation students use the Engineering Design Process to build determine the fastest zipline car.

Add additional slides to the PPTX files using the provided template, but slide content can not be modified.

Included in this Product:

  • Teacher Guide (PDF)- contains standards alignment to NGSS, procedures, set-up and tips for the challenge
  • Teacher Slide Deck (PPTX)- introduces the challenge to students (30 slides) and includes a template slide for any additional slides that the teacher might wish to include
  • Student Notebook(PPTX)- provides students with a guide to help them as they design, build and test their zipline cars.
