9 Best Picture Books for Making STEM into STEAM

Throughout this series, I’ve scoured the Earth (well, Amazon) for the best picture books to help teach STEM skills.  I’m a big fan of reading aloud to students of all ages and this is a great excuse (as if we needed one) to incorporate some language arts and writer’s craft into a lesson.  Use each easy to assemble design challenge flip book to help students work through the Engineering Design Process.    Just hop on over to your favorite book seller and pick up the book that goes along with each one and you’re all set!
